Approved Minutes for the March 10,2026 Meeting 

- Reading of January minutes approved
- Income and expense summary – nothing new reported, approved
- Faculty Report

- Committee Report:

     o Restaurant nights: Minsky’s $267.15 (January), Panera $73.14 (February), no night in
        March, 4/8 Tiki Taco coming up, 11/11/26 Junque Drawer scheduled

- Old Business:

     o Valentine’s party: liked it on the earlier date and not during conference week. Next year
        will likely be on 2/4/27
     o Spring conference meal: Vianna’s Italian Bistro
     o Girls’ night out: went well, karaoke instead of full DJ, friendship bracelets a hit
- New Business:
     o Bingo night: moved to 3/27, concern with ST musical conflict. Boy scouts to sell pizza,
        girl scouts to sell cookies
     o 2026-2027 board noms: President and VP will for sure be vacant
     o School supplies: use as fundraiser? No up-front cost for school. Parents pay directly
        online. No minimum order requirement. Company provides free marketing materials.
     o Door decorating: 3/22 from 3-5 pm. Sign up genius sent out. Jami to remind teachers to
        remove current door décor.
     o Kindergarten enrollment: 4/9, Eva to head
     o Fine Arts Fair: 4/23 5:30-7:30. Stacey Johnson doing Chris Cakes. Possibly ask faith
        partners for help with pancakes. 2 flippers, pre-order to be sent out
     o Teacher and Staff Appreciation week: May 4-8. Working on theme
     o Do we want pool party again next year: yes!

 

PTO Meeting Minutes  January 13th , 2026

Income and Expense Summary – no new updates
Faculty report –
     - Bond coming up: to cover things such as new playground equipment, possibly rebuild
       Meadow Lane, consolidation of elementary schools, tech replacements, updating existing
       buildings
     - Valentine’s Day Parties 2/5: K-2 boxes made at school, 3-5 option to make boxes at home
Committee reports –
     - Restaurant nights: Minsky’s in January, Panera in February
Old Business –
     - Holiday Meal in December, Granfalloon, BIG hit!
     - Winter Parties: still 1-2 parties played a movie, reminder to not do this
New Business –
     - Bingo Night: Jan 23 rd (snow day, since has been rescheduled)
     - Valentines Parties 2/5
     - Girls’ night: Feb 27 th , “Eras Night”, still seeking volunteers, karaoke vs blacklight, bracelet
       making
     - Door Decorating: Decided on 3/22

     - Nurse Mandy requested new backpacks for field trips – approved
     - Loved taco bar
     - Fall parties went well – reminder that siblings cannot come, no movies, like the new parade
       route
     - Jami sent out email to teachers to update favorites
     - Ideas for teacher appreciation food – Italian, BBQ

 

*Revisited Tommy’s Carwash – f/u next meeting, possible Feb or March date?

 

*Junque Drawer – full for this holiday season, requesting for next fall

 

*App for fundraiser – One Cause is $200 for use, decided not to utilize

Tuesday, October 7 th , 2025

     - September 2025 minutes read and approved
     - Income & expense summary reviewed and approved
     - Faculty Report:
           o Wrapping up running club
           o Jared Coones 10/11
           o 10/21 “Pink Out”
           o 10/24 spirit day
           o Reviewed “let grow” project – staff reports this is going well
     - Committee Report:
           o Spirit Wear – add tie dye for holidays?
           o Restaurant nights

                  Red Crow after holidays?
                  Junque Drawer mid-November – awaiting email reply
                  Tommy’s Car Wash – 100% of proceeds over their average sales for the day. Will
                     need presence of RW throughout the day.

     - Old Business:
          o Tiger Trot – raised $22,914.72 this year which is $5,163 more than last year
          o Ideas for next year:

                 Silent auction app

     - New Business:
          o Teacher funds being updated online and pushed out to certified staff
          o Directory continues to be updated

 

 

PTO Meeting Minutes Tuesday, September 9th , 2025

- Welcome and Introductions
- Income and Expense Summary – reviewed with Stacey Johnson, approved
- Faculty Report
        o 5th grade shirts being ordered earlier this year
        o Let grow campaign with Mrs. Wright off to a good start
        o Beanstack going well – 300 minute goal. Still some hiccups with login. Cigich to send out
           troubleshooting email

- Restaurant Nights
        o August $363 from Chipotle
        o September will be Jason’s Deli
        o Tommy’s Car Wash – Stacey/Annie looking into
- Old Business
        o Back to school pictures raised $1149.87
        o Royals game sold 95 tickets (no money for PTO, sold at cost)
- New Business
        o Crestone Senior Living – talked about possible Chess Club visit, residents coming to RW
           for choir/band, technology help
        o Tiger Trot plans reviewed, Andy’s confirmed
        o Fall Harvest Party – parade at 9:15, party at 2:45 (set up 2:15)
