September 8, 2026 General meeting:

Introductions
Approved minutes from 6/15/26
Finance updates from Stacey. Staff breakfast and curriculum needs are our only expenses so far. Working on Tiger Trot.
Budget approved.
Faculty report:

For Kansas assessments this year, Olathe is piloting a program where they take four tests throughout the year versus two big days. Excited to see how that will go. Hopefully it won’t be as stressful.

Keep an eye on announcements for district, boundary changes, moving, and changing staff. Will vote on closures in October, and boundary changes will be made in December.
Chiefs lunch is on Monday.

Restaurant night: made $78.18. Do we want to try to do another Chipotle one next semester? Next time I'll ask Veatch to send out a text the day of (did an email the day before). Will post to PTO websites. Next one is Jason's Deli on 9/29.
Spiritwear. Around 40 orders so far.
Old business:

Jessica White did back-to-school photo night. Raised $850.
Sar Ko Par back-to-school swim party went really well. Will plan on doing that next year.
Back-to-school night was a success.
Field trips from last year: Been coming in under budget on that.

Tiger Trot is 9/25. Still need volunteers. After party starts at 5:30 pm. Still getting auction items. Packet came home today. Always need helpers for end of the night helpers.
Fall Harvest Party 10/30: Costume parade is at 9:15 am outside. Party is at 2:45 pm; parents can get there at 2:15 pm. No red drinks, siblings, tree nuts/peanuts, or gelatin.
Fundraiser at Junk Drawer Boutique downtown in Olathe. Great opportunity to buy gifts.
Next meeting is October 6.
